General Rules

• All instructions from BIRD staff and security related to these house rules must be followed immediately.
• It is mandatory to cooperate with checks for possession of weapons and drugs.
• Lost items can be handed in to the management.
• Presence in BIRD is entirely at your own risk.
• Using our lockers is at your own risk.
• BIRD is equipped with CCTV surveillance. These recordings are stored and viewed live from the control room. By entering BIRD, you implicitly agree to this. At the request of the police or judiciary, these images will be handed over.
• During events at BIRD, photos and videos are made for promotional purposes. By entering BIRD, you implicitly agree to this.
• Smoking is prohibited in BIRD.
• Vaping is not allowed in BIRD.
• NO Gum in BIRD. Thanks for helping. Save the planet!
• In cases not provided for in these house rules, the management decides.

It is prohibited to

• Possess, use, or trade in drugs.
• Possess weapons or other objects that can be used as weapons.
• Commit theft or vandalism.
• Trade or handle goods.
• Use violence or threaten with violence.
• Make discriminatory remarks.
• Sexually intimidate someone by word or gesture.
• Make insults (damage someone's honour and reputation).
• Make film and/or photo recordings for commercial purposes not known to the management.

It is not allowed to

• Bring or consume your own drinks inside.
• Take consumptions from BIRD outside.
• Cause noise nuisance when leaving BIRD and in the immediate surroundings.
• Leave litter in the immediate surroundings of BIRD.
• Throw objects and/or drinks towards artists or mixing desks.
• Bring (pet) animals, whether leashed or not, inside.

Access may be denied if you

• Are tipsy or drunk.
• Have previously been denied access to BIRD.
• Does not cooperate with checks on weapon and drug possession.
• Does not have a valid ID.
• The maximum number of visitors has been reached.

When committing crimes

• You will be arrested and relevant items will be confiscated.
• You will be handed over to the police immediately.
• A report will be filed and/or a complaint lodged.

In case of non-compliance with our house rules

• You will be removed from BIRD and you may be denied further access to BIRD.
• The police will be called in case of trespassing.
• Any damage caused will be claimed from the person responsible.

Token policy

To ensure optimal speed and service at the bar, tokens are used. This increases the average transaction speed of a staff member by 25%.

Tokens are used during most club nights, Friday and Saturday nights, from 11.00 p.m.

The rules

• People can exchange the tokens for money the same night until 4.30 a.m.
• You will not get money back for old tokens.

An update in BIRD: On 11 October 2024, a price change will take place. We work with a lot of joy and passion and we are grateful for your visit to BIRD!

Until now, we have not implemented major price increases. Because our costs (such as personnel costs, product purchasing, energy and rent) are becoming more expensive, we are also forced to increase our prices. From 11 October 2024, coins in BIRD will therefore cost €3.75.

Through this price increase, we can as a team continue to guarantee the best possible quality, continue to innovate and develop ourselves so that you can enjoy BIRD for many years to come.
