On Tuesday, July 2, BIRD and V11 join forces for a special, intimate show aboard the V11. An enchanting musical journey with ESINAM & Sibusile Xaba, two artists who touch each other’s worlds on a deep spiritual and artistic level.

The Belgian-Ghanaian multi-instrumentalist ESINAM and the South African guitarist and singer Sibusile Xaba found each other in their love for trance-inducing grooves, spiritual vocals, and groundbreaking rhythms. Their collaboration is a meeting of two kindred spirits – nomadic musicians who tell stories with sound and build bridges between the past and the future through their music.

What started with a guest contribution on ESINAM’s debut album Shapes in Twilights of Infinity, grew into an intensive artistic exchange with studio recordings, international residencies, and performances at festivals in Slovenia, Germany, the Netherlands, Mozambique, and Morocco. In 2024, they released their first single together Africa Wola, followed by a remix by the South African DJ/producer DaCapo.

On July 2 they bring their project Healing Voices live to Rotterdam – a unique show full of meditative sounds, hypnotic rhythms, and deeply human connection.
